It’s no longer wishful thinking for BaiLona fans as the teen tandem of Bailey May and Ylona Garcia hopped on the Wish 107.5 Bus — though on different dates — to promote their respective singles.

The two are triumphant alumni of the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother, with Bailey emerging as the fourth big placer and Ylona, the second. After their PBB stint, they landed on different singing and acting jobs, making them two of the fastest-rising teen idols in today’s entertainment industry. Both are signed recording artists under Star Music.

Bailey asks: “Can You Be My Girl?”

Written by OPM diva Jamie Rivera, “Can You Be My Girl?” is the second carrier single of Bailey’s self-titled debut album released earlier this year. The pop track showcases his musical charm that he shared was mainly influenced by Justin Bieber and Daniel Padilla.

During his Roadshow guesting on July 21, the 13-year-old heartthrob said he feels really lucky to have this kind of project.

“I’m really happy because I’m blessed to have my own album, and you know, to have my own songs.”

The album is composed of six tracks and was produced over-all by Jamie.

“It’s also a blessing because [Jamie is] one of the most famous artists in the Philippines. To be working with her is such a blessing. I hope we have more work together,” he earlier remarked in one press conference.

Bailey further teased that his fans can expect more projects him, adding that he is very appreciative of their support.
“I love you guys and I just want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I really appreciate it and I’ll do my best to make you happy in every way that I can.”

Prior to PBB, Bailey was already an online sensation with the covers he uploads on his Facebook page.

PH’s Ariana Grande stuns with “Dahan, Dahan, Dahan Lang”

Twitterverse exploded when When Ylona Garcia invaded the Wish 107.5 Bus on July 22 and performed her debut album’s carrier single “Dahan, Dahan, Dahan Lang.”

The young charmer, who is often dubbed as the Ariana Grande of the Philippines, was a hot topic on Twitter with the tag, “Ylona Live AtWish1075,” dominating the local trends list for at least five hours.

The 14-year-old star is releasing her “My Name is Ylona Garcia” album this July 29 via digital concert.

“It’s not the type of concert you’d expect. Aside from the performances, it’s more on interacting with the fans,” she revealed.

Her debut album is composed of nine tracks, four of which are compositions she made out of her “experiences and unforgettable moments” from PBB and from the singing competition, We Love OPM.

Working with Star Music, Ylona also shared that the record label gave her the liberty to be really involved in the album.

Meanwhile, BaiLona fans, who have been requesting for a Roadshow guesting for the two, said they were thankful that their idols were able to share their music on the FM station. They are also hopeful that the two can board the Wish 107.5 Bus together.
