SaBu shows off musical genes in debut track ‘Walk Alone’

May 17, 2017

SaBu grew up in a musical family so it was inevitable that she’d fall in love with music as well. The first song she remembers writing was at the age of four when she read a short poem from a stationery set and decided it sounded better with a melody.

One of the biggest contributors to Sabu’s knack at singing and songwriting would be her growing up in and singing in church. She would always be inspired by the depth and structure of old hymns and amazed at the recall of newer worship songs. One of the songs she wrote in her bedroom out of the overflow of her heart, Jesus My Savior, was chosen to be a part of the Wildfire album and was released internationally in the Victory Worship album – Radical Love.

Selected out of the thousands who auditioned around the Philippines, Sabu became a part of Batch 1 of the prestigious Elements Songwriters Camp. This 2017, she released her first single, “Walk Alone”, under her own artist name and is distributed under Warner Music Philippines.

Walk Alone is a must-try, so get a load of it right on Spotify, Apple Music or iTunes! Like SaBu’s official Facebook page, and follow her on Twitter and Instagram for updates on her hot new releases, gig schedules, and other highlights.
