A quarter after vying for a spot in the grand finals of Tawag ng Tanghalan (TnT), Jex De Castro revealed his career aspirations and teased his fans about what is in store for his journey in the music industry.

“I wish to have my own album and I am planning to hold a concert,” the versatile balladeer shared upon boarding the Wish 107.5 Bus for the second time last June 7 to serenade with his vocal prowess.

For his recent radio guesting, the six-time TnT defending daily champion crooned with his own versions of Regine Velasquez’s “Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka,” Jaya’s “Dahil Tanging Ikaw” and Kyla’s “Hanggang Ngayon.”

His return to the Roadshow was actually a wish granted for his massive following who kept on requesting for the singer to perform again on the program since his March guesting.

“Thank you  for having our idol! He is genuine and a great singer, Jexters love him so much,” a netizen named Lorie Calma Rosos shared on Facebook.

“Each song you perform always touches the listener’s’ hearts. Job well done!,” another Jexter, Jeannie Rose Simeon, also commented.

Prior to his TnT stint, he was the grand champion of the 2005 talent search, “Hiyas ng Sining.”  He also starred in different theater productions including “Lion King: The Musical” in 2014.

He was recently chosen to record the gospel song, “Sa Piling Ko,” theme song from the TV special, “In My Father’s Arms.”

Currently, the TnT semi-finalist plays regularly at Oasis Garden Cafe in Solaire Resort.
