Juris, one of the country’s top-selling recording artists, is ending her two-year concert scene hiatus with her forthcoming show titled “Medleys of My Heart.” The show, presented by Live Artists Production Inc. and BET Productions, is happening on July 14 and 15 at the Music Museum.
In a radio interview with DJ Robin Nievera, the former MYMP vocalist shared that she “will get to sing songs that [she] really wanted to sing” on the show. She also hinted that her line-up will be a mix of her signature soothing balladry and her take on relatively newer tracks.
As what the title suggests, the award-winning singer will be doing an all-medley repertoire, which is a first for any solo act. Fans can anticipate to hear moving performances of well-quilted songs, which would probably include singles she previously recorded for an album or for a teleserye.
The 39-year-old songstress is known for her revivals of several OPM classics that became soundtracks of smash movies and TV series such as “Forevermore,” and “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin.”
For her upcoming concert, Juris will have South Border vocalist/keyboardist Jay Durias, The Voice Philippines Season 2 grand winner Jason Dy, RnB crooner Daryl Ong and acoustic star Aiza Seguerra as guest artists.
As for a new record, the award-winning singer shared she is hopeful to release her fourth studio album this year. As a solo act, she has already released three albums (“Now Playing,” Forevermore” and “Dreaming of You”) and two EPs (“If You and Me” and “Paskong Puno ng Kasiyahan”).
During her Roadshow stint, Juris lent her soulful vocals to sing WISHclusive performances of “Forevermore,” “Your Love,” and “A Love to Last a Lifetime.”
