Three legendary Filipino songwriters — Ogie Alcasid, Rey Valera and Louie Ocampo — shared one stage on December 2 at the Kia Theatre in Quezon City to relive the greatest hits they have written and contributed to the country’s catalog of classic OPM songs.
The concert, entitled “Songwriters Series: Kanta Ko, Panahon N’yo”, witnessed the trio lend their voices to render their own songs as well as each other’s timeless originals.
The three further narrated to the audience enjoyable anecdotes and stories on how their songs came to be.
Concert King Martin Nievera, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez and award-winning a cappella group Acapellago also graced the evening with their beautiful performances.
The “Songwriters Series: Kanta Ko, Panahon N’yo” concert was presented by Viva Live.
