The lyric videos for Princess Sevillena’s tracks off the much-awaited “Wishful Journey” album are now available on Star Music’s YouTube channel.

Her singles include the dreamy ballad “Pangarap Kong Bituin,” composed by Jonathan Manalo, and the sweeping love tune “Walang Kasing Ikaw,” penned by Jungee Marcelo.

She also did a cover of the OPM classics “Sana’y Maghintay Ang Walang Hanggan” and “Ikaw Lamang.”

‘Wishful Journey’

“Wishful Journey” is the debut record of the Wishcovery grand champion together with the competition’s runners-up, Kimberly Baluzo, Louie Anne Culala, Carmela Ariola and Ace Bartolome.

Known collectively as the Wishful 5, the rising music stars will launch the much-anticipated record through a concert of the same name at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum on June 19, Tuesday. They will have special guests including Pop-rock Royalty Yeng Constantino, Asia’s Phoenix Morissette, and “Pilipinas Got Talent” Season 6 Kristel De Catalina.

A day before the show, Wishers and their respective fans can already avail the album via the ABS-CBN Store.

The 18-track effort will include original and cover songs interpreted by the Wishful 5, including the pieces they sang during the Wishcovery grand finals earlier in March.

A Collaborative Project

Even before the pilot season of Wishcovery, Wish 107.5’s online singing competition, ended in March, the Wishful 5 have already secured an exclusive two-year recording deal with Star Music.

This is part of the partnership forged by Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International (BMPI) and the ABS-CBN’s recording arm to foster the musical career of the five promising artists.

“At Star [Music], we’ve always been supportive to new artists. We’re glad to give breaks to these deserving artists. And the Wishful 5 — as how the audience have seen from the auditions up until now — they’ve proven that they are all deserving,” Manalo, who serves as Star Music’s Head for Audio Content, said during the contract signing.

Sevillena, Baluzo, Culala, Ariola and Bartolome have undergone a fierce five-month long vocal battle before reaching the grand finals of Wishcovery. Rising from the original Wishful 20 who entered the competition proper, all five have won cash prizes, recording deals and management contracts with BMPI, the content provider for Wish 107.5.

They have also donated Php 100,000 to each of their chosen charitable groups.

Meanwhile, 24-year-old Sevillena thanked Wish 107.5 in a Facebook post, acknowledging the station’s vital role in propelling her own wishful journey: “Thank you very much for the great privilege and opportunities.”

“I hope to see our Wishers on June 19,” she added.
