WATCH: New Trailer for Documentary ‘Oasis: Supersonic’ Released

Sep 21, 2016

“Oasis: Supersonic,” a documentary recounting the story of the British band’s glorious moments and the disputes between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, has released a new trailer.

“Oasis’ greatest strength was me and Liam, It’s also what drove the band into the ground in the end,” Noel said in the film’s second teaser.

Although other band members gave their full cooperation during the film making, the tension between the brothers appears to be evident still as they had their voice-overs recorded separately. Coldplay’s Chris Martin was also there to act as a peacemaker according to reports.

With the documentary filling in for their fans’ drought for new Oasis music, rumor has it that the band is in talks to reunite after the said film. However, Noel shared that he considers it “rude” that he gets asked about the band’s fate “every day of the week.”

Director Mat Whitecross previously helmed the biopic of singer Ian Dury while two of the project’s producers were also involved in the Oscar-winning documentary “Amy,” which follows the life of Amy Winehouse.

“Oasis: Supersonic” will hit theaters in the U.K. on October 2 and will be shown in the US on October 26 for a one-night-only show.
