Winners of the first Wish 107.5 Music Awards returned triumphant to the Wish 107.5 Bus and treated Wishers to a two-part Roadshow special on January 28 and 29, 2016.

Headlining the special are Darren Espanto and Jason Dy who were the big winners of the awards night held at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Darren won six awards including the Wish Young Artist of the Year, Wish Ballad and Original Songs of the Year and WISHclusive Viral Video of the Year. While, Jason bagged the Wish Male Artist of the Year, Wish Urban Song of the Year and the Best WISHclusive Performance by a Male Artist.

During their guesting, the artists’ respective fandoms managed to make the hashtags #DARRENonWish1075Bus and #JasonDyOnWish1075Bus a trending topic on Twitter.

Stuck, the second time around

As a way to thank his supporters, Darren performed another WISHclusive performance of Wish Original Song of the Year “Stuck.” Earlier in his first WISHperience last February 2015, the total performer rendered the said carrier single of his self-titled debut album.

Still overwhelmed by his big win, Darren exclaimed that he would not have achieved his success without the loyalty of his fans, the Darrenatics. His fandom incidentally received the WMA Most Wishful Fandom award.

He also expressed gratitude to Wish Female Artist of the Year Morissette who shared the Araneta stage with her during the WMA for their duet of “Chandelier.” He lauded his ‘Ate Mowie’s’ artistry as he shared that it was she who did the harmony and blending parts of their WISHclusive showdown.

Both have performed the Sia hit in their respective Roadshow stints last year.

Apart from the JB overload, Jason also serenaded his fans with “Be My Lady” and the Wish Urban Song of the Year, “Milagro.”

With the awards and projects he has been receiving, Jason thanked his fans and supporters. “I’m super overwhelmed with everything that’s happening.”
