The Roadshow, Wish 107.5’s radio program broadcasted live from the Wish Bus, was named “Pop Musical Live Radio Program of the Year” during the awarding ceremony of PPop Awards 2018 held on November 29 at the OPM Hub – Tiendesitas Hall in Ortigas.

Ppop Awards, organized by the PPop Artists League and Crystal Audio Production, is now on its third year of honoring “TV, radio, social media entities, personalities and programs that depict the Philippine pop culture and Filipino values.”

PPop described the Roadshow as a program that offers a unique way of featuring world-class Filipino talents. Airing Mondays through Fridays from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., the show welcomes musical acts across all genres and gives them a one-of-a-kind experience by letting them talk about and share their works aboard the first-ever FM-on-wheels in the Philippines.

“This is incredibly overwhelming. I am taken aback by overflowing gratefulness,” DJ Alice, host of the Roadshow, said in a statement.

“I would like to share this award with all the talented artists who have passionately shared the music aboard the Wish 107.5 Bus, all of our Wishers and [YouTube] subscribers, all the past hosts of the program — Robin, Faye, and Jelly, our hardworking Wish/Roadshow team, and last but not the least, the man behind the concept of Wish 107.5 and the Wish Bus — Kuya Daniel Razon.”

Under the helm of Kuya Daniel, Wish 107.5 has been recognized as a strong, innovative force in the music and broadcast industries with its pioneering projects. Apart from the Wish Bus in the Philippines, the station has also recently unveiled another roving musical vehicle in Los Angeles, California.

Earlier in October, Wish also received the “Most Innovative FM Broadcasting and Media Production” award during the 2018 Best Choice Awards.
