Jason Dy’s first major solo concert “Breakthrough” turned the night into a magical one as he wowed his fans with his charm and talent last September 17 at the SM Skydome in Quezon City.
Talented belters Lea Patricio and Macky Cao opened the show, followed by Upgrade who performed amazing dance moves and upbeat songs.
When it was time for the main act, lights were dimmed and a short video showing Jason riding a motorcycle in a sleek, white suit was played.
Jason started the show with his original song “Turn Out The Night” which caused the audience to exude a vibe of excitement.
He also performed other original songs included in his self-title album (My Bad, Walang Iwanan, Break My Heart Some More, I Am Something, Milagro) that truly captured the hearts of everyone.
It was also a treat when he did a cover of South Border’s hit “Kahit Kailan”, Michael Ruff’s “More Than You’ll Ever Know” and Guy Sebastian’s “Angels Brought Me Here”.
Major guests KZ Tandingan and King of RnB JayR made the night more special. According to Jason, they are two of the artists that he looks up to.
The prodigious RnB crooner capped off the evening by coming down the stage to serenade everyone with his first ever single, “Milagro.”
During the spectacular concert, The Voice Philippines Season 2 grand winner proved that he is indeed truly something — a breakthrough artist capable of turning every performance into an unforgettable, magical show.
