The month of June, popular with lovers who intend to tie the knot, was fittingly welcomed by the digital premiere of Princess Sevillena’s romantic music video of “Walang Kasing Ikaw.” This love song is something that princesses at heart — ones who almost gave up on love until their valiant princes came along — can fully relate to.
The sweet-sounding song was penned and produced by OPM hitmaker Jungee Marcelo, who was a judge-reactor for the pilot season of Wishcovery — Wish 107.5’s online singing competition where Sevillena bagged the grand prize.
The five-minute video, which was released on Star Music’s YouTube channel on May 31, “is not just an ordinary music video,” but is about “real love stories of real-life couples.”
The track begins with recounting the great pain, false hopes, and emotional exhaustion broken vows bring.
Pagod na ‘kong umibig pa
Sa dami ng bigong istorya
Na wala naman pala
Sawa na ‘kong umulit pa
Ang kwento at muling umasa
Na baka s’ya na ang hinahanap ko
But as the song picks up in tempo, so does the narrator’s story, sharing how meeting the one true love can be a life-changing, almost unbelievable moment — an answered prayer from above.
The music video, highlighting the rising diva’s performing prowess, also showcases authentic and heartfelt moments from real-life couples who tied the knot.
“Walang Kasing Ikaw” is lifted from The Wishfuls’ (the collective name for Wishcovery season 1 finalists Princess Sevillena, Kimberly Baluzo, Louie Anne Culala, Carmela Ariola, and Ace Bartolome) certified platinum debut record titled “Wishful Journey” — a collection of eighteen songs that narrate their beautiful journey from being singing hopefuls to bonafide recording artists.
“This song…reminds me to do what I love: To sing, to live without any regrets, to reach my dreams, and to always aim to do better,” Sevillena enthused in an interview with DJ Alice on June 3, 2019.

In the same Roadshow guesting and interview held at the PETA Theatre in Quezon City, she recognized the ardent support of her fans and thanked the Lord for all of her career blessings.
During her Wishcovery stint, the Makati-based songstress has taken home a cash prize of 1 million pesos, her own house and lot, and a brand-new car. She has also inked a management contract under BMPI and Star Music, together with her fellow finalists.
This year, she is gearing up for an extensive musical training in New York, courtesy of US-based talent agency, ONQ, helmed by its president, Cicero Oca.
