The 11th Wish Music Awards (WMAs), held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Araneta Coliseum, marked a big night for Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and a new era for Wish 107.5.
A new set of WMA winners was crowned, led by P-pop stalwarts SB19, who won Wishclusive Pop Performance of the Year (“DAM”), Wishclusive Ballad Performance of the Year (“Time”), Wish Pop Song of the Year (“DUNGKA!”), and the Wishers’ Choice Award. They also took home Wish Song Collaboration of the Year alongside Pop Royalty Sarah Geronimo for “Umaaligid.”
Cup of Joe likewise emerged as a big winner, going home with Wishclusive Rock/Alternative Performance of the Year and Wish Rock/Alternative Song of the Year — both for “Multo.” The band was also named Wish Group of the Year. Music and charity win
During the ceremony, charity was also in the spotlight. For the 19 major categories — covering Wishclusive, Song, and Artist awards — winners were given the opportunity to award Php100,000 to a beneficiary. For the 11th WMAs, the roster of recipients comprised patients from the Philippine Cancer Society. Since 1956, the organization has championed cancer-related advocacies, including statistical research, education and information, prevention and early detection, and focused patient services.
The said amount was apart from the Php25,000 given to the winners themselves.
Meanwhile, the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) received a donation of Php70,000 as this year’s KDR Icon of Music and Philanthropy. Founded in 1986, OPM was created with one clear purpose: to support Filipino singers. However, its mission goes beyond helping artists share their music, as the organization also provides financial assistance to deserving members—especially during times of calamity.
The other KDR Icons, meanwhile, each received a cash prize of Php100,000.

As momentous as these award-winning moments were, the 11th WMAs also featured stellar performances from TJ Monterde — who opened the night with “Darating Din” and “Palagi” — and IV of Spades, who returned to the WMA stage as a four-piece act with “Monster” and the WMA-nominated track “Aura.”
Over October delivered a special tribute to the Apo Hiking Society with performances of “When I Met You” and “Panalangin.” G22 waved the flag of P-pop high with “Lakumpake,” while breakout band fitterkarma dished out their hit “Pag-ibig ay Kanibalismo.”
True to the event’s theme of breaking boundaries, the night also witnessed major collaborations. For the first time, Amiel Sol and Earl Agustin teamed up to deliver a mashup of their respective hits, “Sa Bawat Sandali” and “Tibok.” Meanwhile, Loonie, Frizzle Anne, and Arthur Nery closed out the night with performances of “May Nanalo Na,” “Ikigai,” “Palaisipan,” and “Tao Lang.”
