Ashtine Olviga Makes Wish Bus Comeback Ahead of First Solo Concert

Singer-actress Ashtine Olviga returned to the Wish Bus on June 18 for a special live performance of her debut single, “Love Like U.”

This stint is also in support of her first-ever solo concert, “Love Like Ashtine,” which is set for August 22, 2026, at the New Frontier Theater. Her Wish Bus comeback comes four years after boarding the music-studio-on-wheels as part of the now-defunct P-pop group LITZ.

Apart from “Love Like U,” a song that expresses “gratitude and love toward the people who continue to support her journey,” Ashtine also performed her version of Amiel Sol’s “Sa Bawat Sandali” and Alamat’s “Sa Panaginip Na Lang.”

A versatile act

Ashtine is known for her versatility, not only as a performer but also as an actress. Signed under Viva Records and Viva Artists Agency, she was first introduced to the music scene in 2019 with her rendition of “Sabihin Mo Na.”

Before launching her solo career, Olviga gained experience as part of several girl groups. 

“I had a lot of girl groups. The first one was UGG, or better known as U-Go Girls. We were 12 girls. The second girl group was P-POP Generation. We were like 45 girls. The last one was LITZ," she recalled during her recent Wish Bus gig.

Beyond music, she has also earned recognition for her role in the hit youth-oriented series “Ang Mutya ng Section E,” where she starred alongside Andres Muhlach. Her growing filmography also includes “Miss Granny” (2018), “Will You Be My Ex?” (2023), “The Ship Show” (2023), and the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Manila's Finest.”

‘Love Like Ashtine’

Taking inspiration from her debut single, which was produced alongside acclaimed songwriter and producer Thyro Alfaro, “Love Like Ashtine” marks her first solo concert.

While the show celebrates her growth as an artist, it will also feature several guests. 

As announced by Viva Live, the production will feature special appearances from Krissha Viaje, Nicole Omillo, Aubrey Caraan, GAT, RAYA, Jastine Lim, Sara Joe, Bianca Santos, Yumi Garcia, and Fatima Anonuevo.

“I really want to level up the productions and the performances because most of what they saw previously was just me singing. So I want to sing and dance. Actually, I really want to showcase not just my talent but also the talent of my fellow artists,” Ashtine shared.
