Ahead of their much-anticipated “Saranggola” concert in October at the Araneta Coliseum, Ben&Ben made their debut on Wish 107.5’s Stopover Sessions on Sunday, May 10, at Eton Centris.
Drawing a crowd of nearly 2,800, the folk-pop collective delivered a setlist spanning their nine-year journey as a band — opening the night with “Saranggola,” an ode to their friendship and one of the hitmaking act’s most important songs.
In an interview with Wish 107.5, vocalist and guitarist Miguel Benjamin revealed, “Nagsimula kaming ma-inspire na maisulat ‘yung kanta nung unang nasabi ni Jam na aalis na siya sa end of 2026.” Jam Villanueva, the band’s drummer, made the public announcement in December last year.

“When that happens, sobrang daming emosyon, sobrang daming bittersweet things. Kasi siyempre masaya kami para sa kanya. Pero at the same time, may kalungkutan din. Kaya nga ‘yung feeling ng Saranggola, ganun eh — parang masaya siya na malungkot,” Miguel added.
After performing “Saranggola,” Ben&Ben continued to capture the crowd’s hearts with “Langyang Pag-ibig,” “Kapangyarihan,” and “Duyan.” The night wouldn’t be complete without them performing reimagined versions of their hits, “Lifetime” and “Autumn.”
“Lifetime (Reimagined)” saw the band reclaim their chart dominance, as the viral smash reached the top of both the Official Philippines Chart of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) and the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart. It also fared well on the Spotify Philippines Daily Top Songs Chart and Spotify Top Songs Debut – Global.
With “Autumn (Reimagined),” released just last Friday, Ben&Ben continue their winning streak. Offering a richer sonic palette, the new version elevates the band’s gold-hued sound with atmospheric textures and soaring instrumentation.
“Dinagdagan namin ng mas maraming electric guitars, synth layers, violin lines, at mas madiin na beat yung kanta, para magka-contrast yung bigat ng emotion sa pagka-upbeat ng tugtog,” vocalist and guitarist Paolo Benjamin said in a press statement.
The last part of Ben&Ben’s Stopover Sessions setlist is nothing short of a trip down memory lane, as the band performed earlier anthems, such as “Leaves,” “Ride Home,” and “Maybe The Night.”

During the event, the band also shared a confession sent by one of their Liwanag (fandom), making their Stopover Sessions debut even more relatable.
Before Ben&Ben’s stint, a pre-show featured labelmate and rising singer-songwriter Jolianne and KDR Music House’s Lorenzo Jan and Eloisa.
