Following the local theatrical release of “Forgotten Island,” DreamWorks Animation’s film inspired by Philippine folklore, Wish 107.5 debuted BINI’s live performance of “A Parallel World.”
The surprise Wishclusive is made possible by Universal Pictures Philippines.
“A Parallel World” is part of the film’s original soundtrack, which also includes songs performed by Lea Salonga, KATSEYE‘s Sophia Laforteza, and SB19.
Penned and produced by Nathan Matthew David and Shawn Wasabi, the track celebrates friendship and hope.
In an interview with Vogue Philippines, BINI leader Jhoanna shared how the group relates to the pop anthem.
“[The song] is about friendship, that whatever happens, you hold on to each other. It was relatable to us from the start because I feel like our core as a group is our sisterhood,” she remarked.
The P-pop act recorded "A Parallel World" in the U.S. over the course of two days, during their trip for their historic Coachella stint.
