Dilaw, the band behind the mega-hit “Uhaw,” finally unveiled their debut full-length album, “RARARA” on September 6, 2025. The 10-track record takes the listeners on a journey of heartbreak and growth.
The titular track reflects the Baguio-hailing act’s journey through the highs and lows of life. The album itself is an attempt to return to their roots, with the songs written and produced in their hometown.
In “SEYP” and “LAMYERDA” the band sings of escape and the spontaneity of new adventures. Meanwhile, “! (TANDANG PADAMDAM)” brims with quiet introspection.
While “IKAW AT AKO AY” and “H.O.Y (HANG OVER YOU)” reek with heartbreak, “ALL IN” is about the realization of self-worth. The album-ender “AMISTAD” is a tasteful ode to friendship. “Sana'y tandaan mong/Sa pag-uwi, hindi ka nag-iisa/Alam mong nandito lang/Ako sasalubong sa'yo ng may/Ngiti at konting luha,” the song’s chorus goes.
Dilaw premiered the anticipated album at a concert that featured notable acts KMKZ, Kenaniah, and Novocrane. The said show also served as the kick-off for their upcoming album tour.
