‘Gabi ng Lambing’: Silent Sanctuary to Celebrate 24 Years of Songs in a Two-Night MOA Show

Silent Sanctuary, the band that brought “rockestra” to the mainstream OPM scene back in the 2000s, is taking their music to one of the country’s biggest concert venues. 

The show, titled “Gabi ng Lambing: 24 Years of Songs,” will take place on October 24 and 25, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. 

The October 25 show, which sold out in five hours upon the start of sale, prompted the band to announce an additional October 24 date due to overwhelming public demand — a very welcome news for a band celebrating their 24th anniversary in the industry.

The OPM hitmakers formally made the announcement in a press conference held on July 10. 

“Hindi ako tumitingin sa queue. Sinabihan na lang ako na may 18,000 people na naka-queue wala pang isang oras. Ayoko talagang mag-expect. Pinagdarasal ko lang na ma-sold out. Sobrang grateful ako nung nalaman ko dahil sobra-sobra yung binigay ng Diyos,” vocalist and guitarist Raymund “Sarkie” Sarangay.

For violinist Kim Mirandilla-Ng, the sellout brought both gratitude and pressure.

“Sobrang overwhelming, blessed, and at the same time mas dumoble yung pressure. Kailangan matapatan ng performance namin yung overflowing support and love ng fans,” he remarked.

During the press conference, the band also opened up about their enduring love for their craft and the music they have dedicated their lives to.  

Their fans can expect a two-night concert filled with hits and more.

According to a press release, Silent Sanctuary’s “Gabi ng Lambing” will feature fan favorites, deep cuts, and new arrangements, all performed alongside the Manila Symphony Orchestra, choir group Viva Voce, and surprise guests.
