‘Music is Universal’ is a Showcase of OPM’s Diversity

Music is universal. And it’s also incredibly diverse.

Last June 8, UMG Philippines put that on full display as Juan Karlos, Dionela, Janine Berdin, Xonara, and more took the stage together in BGC for “Music is Universal: Artist Showcase 2026.”

The one-night showcase united artists from EMI, Republic, and Island Records Philippines, bringing together some of OPM's most distinct voices for an unforgettable evening.

One of the event’s biggest highlights was the collaboration between Dionela and Filipino-American rapper and singer EZ Mil. Alt faves HEY JUNE!, One Click Straight, and Fern. also added a unique flavor to the evening. 

Offering a diverse music experience, the artist showcase also turned the limelight on Moira, Janine Berdin, and Jayda. Xonara, one of the newest P-pop groups in town, also stunned the crowd with their rendition of labelmate Dionela’s “Ikigai.”

The audience was also in for an exclusive treat as Juan Karlos performed unreleased songs. 

Apart from the performances, “Music is Universal” served as a fully immersive fan experience, offering fans exciting activities like a stamp rally, music-themed games, and photo opportunities.
