It’s time to wear those all-black outfits and sing your hearts out — Playback Music Festival returns this May with an all-out punk, rock, and emo takeover, featuring Dashboard Confessional, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Faber Drive.

These three 2000s icons are heading to Manila on May 8 at SM Mall of Asia Arena and Cebu on May 9 at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, for a two-city show packed with nostalgia and back-to-back-to-back anthems.

Led by the ever-charismatic Chris Carrabba, Dashboard Confessional stole hearts with classics like “Vindicated,” “Stolen, and “Hands Down.”

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, meanwhile, exploded worldwide with fan-favorites, such as “Your Guardian Angel” and “Facedown.”

Blending infectious pop-rock hooks with relatable storytelling, Canadian act Faber Drive earned a place in the bursting alternative scene of the early and mid-2000s with songs like “Tongue Tied” and “When I’m With You.”

Presented by Super Awesome Productions, the Playback Music Festival has established itself as a highly anticipated concert series that takes audiences on a trip down memory lane. They have previously brought artists like Boys Like Girls, SecondHand Serenade, and The Click Five to the Philippine stage.

Prepare for the ultimate music throwback experience. Get your tickets for the Manila and Cebu shows now.

This blog post has completely changed my perspective on music. It's a must-read for any music lover.
