Playback Presents: The Best of David Archuleta
Archuleta’s recent Manila show comes six years since his last visit. And this time, he flaunts the best version of himself — an Archuleta who’s more proud than ever — making him even more endearing to his fans.

The American singer-songwriter jumpstarted the memorable night with his upbeat originals, “I’m Yours,” “Invincible,” “Afraid To Love,” and a medley of “Zero Gravity” and “Something ‘Bout Love.”

Then came the heartfelt tracks that really struck a cord. These include his performances of “A Little Too Not Over You,” “Hell Together,” and “UP.” David sang these songs while he narrated his recent experiences in life.
To the Archies’ surprise, David invited Asia’s Phoenix Morissette on stage. They belted out their rendition of Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga’s “Die With A Smile.”
The multi-talented artist also performed the theme song of his 2012 Filipino teleserye, “Nandito Ako,” which gave a dose of nostalgia. During this part of the show, fans took their sweet time remembering some kilig scenes from the television series.

Apart from his hits, he also gave his own spins to two of today’s biggest pop hits: Sabrina Carpenter’s “Movin’/Espresso” and Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?”.
And, as any Archie would agree, there’s no better way to cap off his Manila comeback than performing a song he’s well-loved for — “Crush.”
