KZ Tandingan to Headline ‘Converge Xponential Spotlight’ Concert in Naga City

Don’t have anything planned yet for July 4? If you’re in or around Naga City, you’re in for a musical treat, courtesy of Wish 107.5 and Converge Super FiberX.

Billed as Converge Xponential Spotlight, the event will take place this Saturday, 6 p.m., at Plaza Rizal. Admission is free.

Headlining the show is Asia's Soul Supreme, KZ Tandingan, who is set to deliver unforgettable performances both from the Wish Bus and on stage.

KZ has been experiencing a new creative high, as she recently announced that she is now an independent artist. She celebrated the milestone with the release of “Sinong Magmamahal Sa 'Kin.”

Earlier this year, she also unveiled “Hiraya Manawari” in collaboration with fellow musician and husband, TJ Monterde.

Bicolano talents on spotlight

Bicol-born singer-songwriter dwta and local act EJ Clarks will join the lineup of on-stage performers.

dwta has been making waves with “Tabi!,” which represents a new era in her career. Treading a new sonic path, the artist “melds alt-pop sensibilities with folk textures, country-inspired banjo strums, driving percussions, and grunge-inflected electric guitars” to create a defiant anthem.

Meanwhile, EJ proves to be one of the region’s most promising talents, having released hit tracks, such as “Mahal Kape Tayo” (featuring Tothapi) and “Pahinga.”

Attendees can expect an evening of a top-notch musical showcase with these three talented artists. Fans can also get a chance for a photo opportunity with KZ.

Ahead of the event, Wish 107.5 will host a special Roadshow gig on Friday, July 3, at Plaza Rizal. It will feature Wishcovery alum Kimberly Baluzo, Aya, and Siyak.
