A quick scroll through social media is enough to surface a barrage of unpleasant news from around the world. Sometimes we don't even have to look that far — as each one of us has our own battles to fight.
Amid it all, it can be easy to feel that hope is all but gone.
In times like this, some songs do have the power to bring us back to the brighter side of life.
Released earlier this month under KDR Music House, “Ride of Life” is a reminder that despite all the negativity that surrounds us, hope remains.
The song, penned by Kuya Daniel Razon and interpreted by Jan Casey, isn’t just sonically upbeat. The lyrics trace the ups and downs of life, while ultimately saying how we can “survive the ride of life”: through God’s help and mercy.
“Hindi tumitigil, walang umaatras/’Pagka’t Dios ang aming lakas/Let’s ride, the ride of life,” Jan Casey sings one part of the track.
Back in 2024, the OPM singer brought to life another composition by Kuya Daniel called “Masdan.”
