Wish 107.5 and Converge Super FiberX teamed up for a free concert in Naga City, billed as Converge Xponential Spotlight Tour. The event, which drew about 2,000 people, was held at Plaza Rizal on July 4, with Asia's Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan as the headliner.
Good music in the spotlight
The Converge Xponential Spotlight Tour turned the limelight on talents from the region.
dwta set the mood for the evening and treated the crowd to a set of her signature originals: “Pauwi Na 'Ko (Dito Ka Na Lang),” “Padaba Taka,” and “Santigwar.” Backed by an ace band, she also performed “Sampung Mga Daliri,” a song she debuted at the 10th Wish Music Awards, together with justin.
EJ Clarks next took the stage, serenading the crowd with “Mahal Kape Tayo” and “Harana Kan Bicolano.” He also delivered his own take on Shamrock’s classic “Alipin.”
KZ Tandingan showcased her undeniable command on stage as she performed her beloved tracks “Halik Sa Hangin” and “Imposible.”
She also delivered a solo rendition of “Palagi,” an award-winning hit dedicated to her by husband and fellow musician TJ Monterde, prompting a massive sing-along from the crowd. The two previously released a collaborative version, making the song even more kilig-inducing.
Before the on-stage performances, KZ also boarded the Wish Bus and jammed to her song “Sinong Magmamahal Sa 'Kin?” She also received her Wishclusive Platinum Elite Circle award for her hit UDD cover of “Tadhana.”
KZ took to social media to thank the fans for attending the show. “You have my heart Naga!! ❤️🔥Dakul na mabalos sa suporta!!!,” she said.
Ahead of the event, Wish 107.5 hosted a special Roadshow gig at the same venue, featuring Kimberly Baluzo, Aya, and Siyak.
More than just a concert
Before the concert proper, Converge FiberX executives held a press conference at the venue alongside KZ.
Present were Orange Ramirez, VP and Brand & Marketing Head of Converge ICT Solutions Inc.; Sandra Tubale-Dingal, AVP and Head of Consumer Segment Marketing; Demetrio Montes, AVP and Regional General Manager for South Luzon & Bicol Region; and Tim Ordinario, CEO of Ravenous Communications Inc.
Off stage, the leading internet service provider made the night even more memorable with booth games, merch giveaways, upgrade plan offerings, and new sign-up activations.
Another highlight for the fans was the exclusive photo opportunity with KZ aboard the Wish Bus, where 30 lucky winners got up close with Asia's Soul Supreme.
