We’re now halfway through the year. And for the past six months, the Wish Bus has hosted many incredible live performances that made a mark in the digital space.

From a viral heartbreak anthem to an OPM classic that enjoyed a newfound success on social media, here are the six Wishclusives that defined the first half of 2026.

Janine Berdin — “What if I miss you for the rest of my life?”

It’s a Janine Berdin live session, so expect raw emotions. But what took her Wishclusive rendition of “What if I miss you for the rest of my life?” to another level is the addition of a vocal scream (not heard in the song’s official recording).

A bridge as hard-hitting as this is hard to ignore. Thanks to the power of social media, a snippet of the performance has caught the attention of Demi Lovato, among a slew of global and local artists, celebrities, and influencers. This buzz made Janine’s WIIMYFTROML into a meme that got netizens singing (and screaming) their hearts out.

Yuridope (feat. Skusta Clee) — “Rosas”

One of the most intimate aspects of love is being ready to lay bare — and embrace — one’s vulnerabilities. In “Rosas,” the chart-dominating collaboration between Yuridope and Skusta Clee, the two artists don’t shy away from admitting weaknesses. And admitting they’re scared of losing love because of those shortcomings.

“Kung sakali bang mawala/ Pagbalik ay tatanggapin mo pa ba?/ ‘Pag nakita mo akong mahina/ Mamahalin mo pa ba?,” goes the hook of this hip-hop tune.

The song’s live iteration aboard the Wish Bus became one of the most replayed Wishclusives of the year. And it’s proof that the genre’s softer side resonates just as hard as its bravado.

Elias J.TV — “Puhon”

“Puhon” is a Visayan word that loosely translates to “someday.” A poetic expression of hope, it has been the muse of various OPM songs. These include a reggae tune from Elias J.TV.

In the band’s debut Wish Bus stint, they introduced their feel-good vibes with an impeccable live performance of this very track. And based on the numbers — the video has since crossed 1 million streams — it’s safe to say the vibes were very much felt.

Elias J.TV — “Isayaw Mo Naman Ako”

2026 proves to be a milestone year for Elias J.TV. Apart from racking millions of views across digital platforms, the band also got to record “Isayaw Mo Naman Ako,” which is penned by hit singer-songwriter Lito Camo (“Buksan Mo,” “Otso Otso,” “Spageti”).

The band’s second entry in this list is a live performance of that song. This Wishclusive once again showcases the deftness of each band member, as they express the yearning to be held close by someone you love.

El Manu and Jessy Kang — “Tahanan”

Like “puhon,” “tahanan” is a sublime word that has been used as the title of one too many Filipino tunes — El Manu and Jessy Kang’s smash collaboration included.

Composed by hitmaker Jason Marvin, “Tahanan” is about being someone’s safe place, no matter what. “Tahanan mo ako/ ‘Di magbabago 'yon/ At ‘pag ika’y nawawala/ Tingin ka lang sa’king mata,” is simply a kind of line that sends hearts aflutter.

Easily one of the year’s most unforgettable tracks, “Tahanan” peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Philippines Top Philippine Songs chart and entered the Top 5 of Spotify’s Top 50 Philippines.

The Bloomfields — “Ale”

The past few years have seen several classics (international and local songs alike) get reintroduced to a younger generation of listeners. Again, we have social media to thank for.

For The Bloomfields, this moment came courtesy of a TikTok fit-check video that used the band’s well-loved anthem, “Ale.” The song, which was officially covered by the band over two decades ago, eventually climbed to the top spot of TikTok Trending Sounds (yup, this Bloomfields hit is actually a cover of a song originally written by the late Bodjie Dasig in the late ‘80s and recorded by Richard Reynoso in the ‘90s).

Their Wishclusive version of this song spotlights the group’s tight-as-ever harmonies and signature retro-flavored energy.

This blog post has completely changed my perspective on music. It's a must-read for any music lover.
