Are you looking for your next favorite concert experience? “Wish Date” might just be the answer.
An event by Wish 107.5 and KDR Music House, this unique concert experience takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride — through film, live music, and theater.
For its newest edition, “Wish Date: Unchanging Glass,” the lineup spans generations of OPM, with The Juans, dwta, Renz Verano, and Pops Fernandez performing a setlist curated to complement a short film of the same name.
The event happens at the Araneta Coliseum on August 23, coinciding with Wish 107.5’s 12th anniversary celebration. The film stars Zaijian Jaranilla, Yukii Takahashi, Aljon Mendoza, Monina Lawrence, Sharmaine Suarez, and Chikki Magbitang.
OPM legends take center stage
Debuting on the “Wish Date” stage is none other than the country’s Concert Queen herself, Pops Fernandez. With a career spanning four decades across music, film, and television, she is one of the most versatile artists in the industry.
Pops remains active in the scene.
Earlier in February, she performed “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang” together with Rob Deniel on the latter’s solo concert. She earned praises from the audience, with YouTube user @kenmavzken4840 commenting, “Never thought I would hear this song again on a BIG STAGE. Still sung by Pops Fernandez but together with a new generation of OPM singer Rob Deniel. Nakakangilid ng luha.”
Joining her at the upcoming Wish Date installment is Renz Verano.
An enduring name with a distinctive husky vocal style, Renz is no stranger to the Wish Date stage. In July, he was one of the musical guests at “Wish Date: Rewrite,” where he delivered classics like “Remember Me,” “Tanging Ikaw,” and “You and I,” alongside his own rendition of the Kamikazee hit, “Narda.”

In a recent Wish Bus stint in promotion of his new song “Hiram”, he expressed his gratitude for being a part of the concert series.
“It’s always a pleasure, and I'm honored to be with the Wish Date event again… and hopefully, if ever you still need me for another Wish Date, I'm happy to perform, always,” he remarked.
Modern voices join the bill
Representing the current generation of OPM are The Juans and dwta.
The Juans, like Renz, have previously showcased their music at the Wish Date stage. The band joined the Laguna leg of “Wish Date: Endless” back in March, calling the stint “an experience we’ll truly treasure.”
The “Hindi Tayo Pwede” hitmakers — Carl Guevarra, Japs Mendoza, Chael Adriano, and RJ Cruz — continue to give OPM lovers some of the most relatable tunes in recent memory. In September 2025, they released their latest record, “TAWID,” which features “Ngiti,” “Ano Ba Talaga Tayo?” (feat. Janine Berdin), and “Missed Call” (feat. Rhodessa).
Rounding out the lineup is dwta, a singer-songwriter known for weaving her native Bikol language into her music, including tracks like “Padaba Taka” and “Santigwar.”

dwta has lent her musical prowess to several Wish events before. She recently performed a set of her originals at the Converge Xponential Spotlight Tour in Naga City in July. In January 2025, she and SB19’s justin also debuted their collaborative track, “Sampung Mga Daliri,” at the 10th Wish Music Awards.
